Add your Cotl Plan to your trust or will
Do you have a comprehensive will or trust in place for other aspects of your estate? You can easily designate a certain amount of money to be transferred to your Cotl Plan as part of that will or trust.
Just insert the following paragraph as a new provision in your will or trust. Make sure to add how much money you want to transfer to your Cotl Plan in the bracketed section of this paragraph.

Pet Care & Funding Provision
Notwithstanding anything else in this document to the contrary, I direct that the ownership, care, and management of any pets I own at the time of my death or incapacitation shall be governed by my Cotl Pet Trust Agreement on file with Cotl, LLC (my “Cotl Plan”), as administered by Booper Legal, a North Carolina professional limited liability company, or its successor (“Booper Legal”), as trustee. I authorize and direct my trustee or personal representative to distribute the sum of [$XX,XXX] to Booper Legal to be held and administered for the care of my pets under the terms of my Cotl Plan. This distribution shall be made as soon as practicable following my death or incapacity and shall be used solely for the benefit, care, and ongoing management of my pets pursuant to the Cotl Plan. In the event that my Cotl Plan is no longer active for any reason, my pets shall be cared for and any remaining funds distributed according to the arrangements outlined in my Cotl Plan or as determined by my trustee or personal representative in their discretion. To initiate any administration of my Cotl Plan, my Trustee or personal representative should contact Cotl at support@cotl.pet and Booper Legal at trustee@booperlegal.com.
